My name is Yasmin LLuveras, LCSW-C, I have a private psychotherapy practice here in Arizona and several other states. I recently relocated to Mesa after a decade of living and working in Japan. I am a native of Puerto Rico, a veteran of both the Army and Navy, and a founding member of the Empezando Contigo Association for Latina Therapists. In my spare time I enjoy movies, my cat and motorcycle riding. I am also the author of "At My School," a children's book designed to ease the transition from home to preschool. In addition to my clinical practice, I am deeply committed to several causes close to my heart, including women's rights, animal welfare, and veteran support services, and of course Courage Under Cancer. A diagnosis of cancer can be scary for the individual as well as those who care for them. It can be devastating for us all. I am honored to be able to assist in this campaign.
